If you prefer to study at home, just order The Safe Boater Manual
and review material at your convenience. When you are ready to
challenge the exam, simply call The Safe Boater assistance line -
1-877-737-2223 – for information as to where and when
you can register or go back to this website and select "take
the exam online". To order The Safe Boater Manual, go to the
section titled Safe Boater Manual.

Looking to take some boating training? Register for The Safe Boater
Training Course today. This one day interactive course covers all
that you need to know to get certified. It includes a full colour
manual, personal instructions with interactive exercises and visual
aids. The test for the Pleasure Craft Operating Card is also included.

If you believe you understand the important aspects of navigation
and safe boater operation, simply visit one of our training partners
and take the test. The suggested cost is $45.00. Simply click on
"On-line Exam" button above to learn how to take the test online.

Passing Grades:
|
|
The Canadian Coast Guard boater proficiency exam consists of 36
multiple-choice questions. A passing grade is 75% correct or
higher. That equals a minimum of 27 correct questions. Successful
candidates will receive by mail, their personalized pleasure
craft operator card, plus special discount coupons for a host of
products made available by some of our sponsors.
